STAN POLISCHUK Dad passed away, unexpectedly, on March 25, 2009. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Stella; his children, Gwen, Karen, Kevin, Susan, Danny, Bonnie and Mark; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Matthew, Paryce and Thalia; his sisters, Grace, Josie and Dona, and their spouses, Carl and Adrian, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his Father and Mother; sisters, Kazemera, Lou and Kathy, and brother, Larry. Dad was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and his family moved to Winnipeg when he was young. He was a kind-hearted and wonderful family man. Dad was an avid golfer and accomplished something few golfers ever do, 3 holes in one! at his favourite golf courses, Kildonan and Transcona Country Club. Dad also enjoyed bowling and watching hockey and golf. In his leisure time he loved to spend time with his grandchildren who were the light of his life. A celebration of Dads life will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 3:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal, 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey Street).
